Welcome to Wagga Vegan Bakery! Founded in 2023, this home-based business was born from a passion to bring high-quality, delicious vegan and allergy-friendly baked goods to the people of Wagga.

Wagga Vegan Bakery is a one-woman show, run entirely by Zoe (hi!). I started baking with my parents and older sisters very early on in my life, and was confidently baking on my own by the time I was in primary school (see the photo on this page- my dad found & sent this to me a few months after I started the bakery- thanks dad!). With a background in design, I love combining art & baking to create delicious desserts that taste as good as they look.

I moved back home to Wagga in 2022 after a few years in Canberra for university. I found myself constantly missing the abundance of delicious vegan options that are available in Canberra. In early 2023, I attended a friend’s wedding, and after hearing about her struggle to find both gluten free and vegan dessert options, I realised that since I had both baking skills and small business experience, I could be the one to solve that problem! After a few months of planning, recipe testing, and getting council approval, Wagga Vegan Bakery was born! Then in November of 2024, I was diagnosed with Coeliac disease, so Wagga Vegan Bakery made the pivot to both 100% gluten free & vegan baked goods.

Wagga Vegan Bakery’s mission is simple: to provide a dedicated vegan and gluten free bakery that challenges the notion that animal products & gluten are necessary for delicious tasting treats. My aim is to show both vegans and non-vegans alike just how amazing vegan food can be, and create desserts that everyone will enjoy! When you order with us, you won’t have to worry about friends or family missing out because of their dietary requirements!

We offer a variety of treats, including cakes, chocolates, cupcakes, cookies, and brownies. Our custom-made cakes are especially popular, tailored to your needs to suit any occasion. As the only dedicated vegan & gluten free bakery in the area, we eliminate the risk of cross-contamination with both animal products & gluten, making our tasty treats a safe choice for vegans, coeliacs, and those with egg/dairy allergies.
